Please read these terms carefully before using PlayXcrew.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the PlayXcrew platform — including our website, mobile application, and any related services (collectively, the "Platform") — you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and all other policies incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately discontinue all use of the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following any modification of these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and PlayXcrew ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

2. Platform Description

PlayXcrew is an online skill-based gaming tournament platform operated in India. The Platform enables registered users to participate in competitive gaming tournaments and contests where the outcome is determined predominantly by the exercise of skill — including but not limited to game knowledge, strategy, tactics, reflexes, and experience — rather than by chance. PlayXcrew operates in accordance with the Supreme Court of India's jurisprudence recognising games of skill as a lawful activity, and complies with all applicable Indian laws and regulations governing online gaming. The Platform facilitates tournament entry, match-making, result tracking, leaderboards, prize distribution, and related community features. PlayXcrew does not offer or facilitate betting, wagering, or any game of chance.

3. Eligibility

To register and use the Platform, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age at the time of registration.
• Be a resident and citizen of India.
• Not be physically located in, or a resident of, any Indian state or territory where participation in online skill-based gaming contests with prize money is prohibited or restricted by local law. Residents of the following states are currently ineligible to participate in paid contests: Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Assam, Odisha, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Meghalaya.
• Have a valid Indian bank account and government-issued identity proof for KYC verification.
• Not be an employee, director, officer, or close relative of PlayXcrew or its affiliates.
• Not be subject to any court order, legal restriction, or other prohibition that prevents your participation.

By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. PlayXcrew reserves the right to verify your eligibility at any time and to terminate accounts found to be ineligible without notice. Winnings collected by ineligible users may be forfeited.

4. Account Registration & Security

You must create an account to access paid features of the Platform. During registration, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information and keep it updated at all times.
• Complete KYC (Know Your Customer) verification with valid government-issued identity documents (Aadhaar, PAN card, etc.) before making deposits or withdrawals.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials; you are solely responsible for all activity conducted under your account.
• Immediately notify PlayXcrew at support@playxcrew.com of any unauthorised access or security breach.
• Not share, sell, transfer, or allow third parties to access your account.
• Maintain only one account per individual; multiple accounts by the same person are strictly prohibited.

PlayXcrew shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these provisions.

5. Deposits, Entry Fees & Payments

Users may add funds to their PlayXcrew Wallet to pay tournament entry fees and access paid features. The following terms apply:

• Accepted payment methods include UPI (Unified Payments Interface), net banking, debit/credit cards, and other methods made available on the Platform from time to time.
• All amounts are in Indian Rupees (₹). Minimum deposit amounts and applicable transaction limits are displayed at the time of deposit.
• Deposits are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. PlayXcrew does not store your full payment card details.
• Entry fees paid for a tournament are non-refundable once the tournament has commenced, except as specified in our Refund Policy.
• PlayXcrew may charge a platform fee or service charge on certain contests, which will be clearly disclosed before you confirm your entry.
• All transactions are subject to applicable taxes, including GST, as per Indian law.
• PlayXcrew reserves the right to impose deposit limits for responsible gaming purposes.

6. Withdrawals

Users may withdraw their winnings and eligible wallet balance subject to the following conditions:

• Minimum Withdrawal: ₹100 per transaction.
• Processing Time: Withdrawals are typically processed within 3–5 business days from the date of the approved request, subject to KYC verification and compliance checks.
• Withdrawals can only be made to the verified bank account or UPI ID linked to your PlayXcrew account in your name.
• Full KYC verification (including PAN card submission for TDS compliance) is mandatory before any withdrawal is processed.
• PlayXcrew reserves the right to place a hold on withdrawal requests pending fraud review, verification, or investigation of a reported dispute.
• Bonus credits and promotional amounts are non-withdrawable unless explicitly stated otherwise in the relevant promotion's terms.
• PlayXcrew is not responsible for delays caused by banking intermediaries or technical disruptions beyond our control.

7. Winnings & TDS (Tax Deducted at Source)

All prize winnings distributed through PlayXcrew are subject to applicable Indian tax laws:

• TDS Rate: As per Section 115BBJ read with Section 194BA of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (as amended), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) at the rate of 30% (plus applicable surcharge and cess) is applicable on net winnings from online gaming.
• TDS is calculated on net winnings per withdrawal (total withdrawal amount minus the deposit amount used for that contest).
• PlayXcrew will deduct TDS before crediting winnings to your withdrawable balance and will issue Form 16A (TDS certificate) for each financial year.
• You are solely responsible for filing your income tax returns and reporting winnings as required under Indian law. PlayXcrew's TDS deduction does not relieve you of your personal tax obligations.
• Users must submit a valid PAN card for TDS compliance. Failure to provide PAN may result in TDS deduction at a higher rate as specified by the Income Tax Act.
• PlayXcrew reserves the right to withhold winnings if you fail to provide required tax documentation.

8. Fair Play & Prohibited Conduct

PlayXcrew is committed to maintaining a fair and competitive environment. The following conduct is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension, permanent ban, and forfeiture of winnings:

• Using cheats, hacks, bots, scripts, macros, emulators, or any unauthorised third-party software that provides an unfair advantage.
• Collusion with other players to manipulate tournament outcomes.
• Creating multiple accounts (smurfing) to gain unfair advantages or circumvent bans.
• Engaging in match-fixing, score manipulation, or deliberate underperformance.
• Using VPNs or other tools to circumvent geographic restrictions.
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users, PlayXcrew staff, or moderators.
• Posting or sharing offensive, defamatory, obscene, or illegal content on the Platform.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Platform's code or systems.
• Conducting any fraudulent financial transactions or providing false information during KYC.
• Any other action that PlayXcrew, in its sole discretion, deems to be against the spirit of fair play.

PlayXcrew's decisions on fair play violations are final. Refer to our Code of Conduct for detailed guidelines.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality available on the Platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, data compilations, software, and the overall design and look-and-feel of the Platform — are the exclusive property of PlayXcrew or its licensors and are protected under applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws, including the Copyright Act, 1957, and the Trade Marks Act, 1999.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, create derivative works from, publicly display, or exploit any portion of the Platform without our prior written consent. Any unauthorised use constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may violate applicable laws.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. PlayXcrew expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PlayXcrew, its founders, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.
• Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
• Interruptions, errors, bugs, or security vulnerabilities in the Platform.
• Actions or content of third parties, including other users.
• Any loss resulting from your violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

PlayXcrew's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the total amount deposited by you in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so the above limitations may not fully apply to you.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with them — including their formation, validity, breach, or termination — shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

You agree that the courts of competent jurisdiction located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform. Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiations with PlayXcrew by contacting us at legal@playxcrew.com.

12. Changes to Terms

PlayXcrew reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. When we make material changes, we will notify you by:

• Posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
• Sending a notification to your registered email address or via in-app notification.

Your continued access to or use of the Platform after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your binding acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform and may request account closure by contacting us at support@playxcrew.com. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of your rights and obligations.
